Sportscru is an online marketplace venture owned by Sportscru Retails Pvt. Ltd., which deals in sports equipment & fitness products and a pet store. Sportscru has a multi-faceted approach of opening a pet store and a sports store in a single portal. They have onboarded sellers for both the business lines on their portal and are doing a good amount of business from their broadly defined product catalog.

The client required a marketplace solution to showcase two different business lines, i.e., a sports store and a pet store, on a single portal.

They wanted to get the storefront designed so that the buyer has a clear understanding of both the listed stores and has an option to browse any store of his choice. The buyer from the storefront can see the categories of both the stores listed on the website thru a split view on the website header, making it a one of its kind website.

The seller listed on the website can add their products under the product categories, which post approvals by the admin can be taken live on the website for buyer purchases.

The store had multiple categories, brands, and products for both Pet-store and Sports-store.

The requirement of the solution was a unique concept that had many challenges in terms of the theme designing part. Keeping the needs and the business line in mind, we created a new theme design with a single header split into two separate dropdowns, one for each business. The sports store section has all the category links related to the sports & equipment, while the pet store section has all the categories relevant to pet food, health, etc.

We designed a mobile responsive theme that was functional on all the devices and browsers with the website’s unique concept.

Admin had the authority to add new categories in any stores under which the seller could add new products. Admin also has an option to create & offer discount coupons to the buyers from his backend panel.
