Ezizio.com – an online store to sell elderly Health-Care & Lifestyle Products
Ezizio Ventures is a Chennai based firm whose goal was to create an eCommerce
platform which would facilitate the elderly people & senior citizens to purchase
products for their day-to-day needs, healthcare items and lifestyle products. They had
a wide range of products, and every product was unique to help old people.
Their mission was to fulfil the needs of all the elders who are still young at heart and
does not wish to rely on others which is correctly mentioned in their mission statement
- "Growing old is a bliss".
The Challenge we had
The client wanted to design a platform to sell products related to older people & senior citizens. The products ranged from lifestyle products to daily needs & health care items. Since the products were linked to older people & senior citizens, we planned a solution that the people from the targeted age group could efficiently operate. They could quickly search and navigate to their required product.
Also, considering the targeted buyers, we improvised the overall buying process to quickly checkout with their shopping carts.
The Resolution
The project started with the front-end design, which focused on the targeted buyers, i.e., older people & senior citizens. The website’s homepage design was more focused on displaying static banners, which the buyers could easily read, and they could quickly land on the relevant product category. Moreover, we used bold fonts and large product icons throughout the website, which the targeted buyers could easily read and interpret.
The overall navigation of the website was easy to understand, and the checkout options were quick enough so the buyers could check out efficiently.
