URPrinters is a unique concept that we worked on to create a printing marketplace for a Delhi-based Startup. URPrinters solves a fundamental problem of a business which is printing and procurement of merchandise for internal usage. The items range from custom printing jobs like letterhead and visiting cards to merchandise customized/personalized by the buyers directly from the platform.
The Challenges we had?
Urprinters.com wanted to sell two types of Products.
Firstly, products related to printing like letterheads, visiting cards, posters, banners, etc., and secondly, products sold as customizable merchandise like mugs, t-shirt, masks, etc.
The pricing combinations for the printable products were complicated, and it was impossible to achieve it via a normal product listing process.
The product was to be sold to B2C & B2B audiences, where the B2B sales were majorly credit-driven.
The Resolution
We created a printing marketplace with an innovative pricing engine.
- Pricing of printable products was calculated using an algorithm where the seller just needed to fill in the cost of Raw materials used.
- We have designed a personalization engine that will allow buyers to buy merchandise tailored to them.
- We classified buyers as B2C or B2B based on their user types.
- For B2B buyers, a catalog was provided, and a credit limit was assigned.
- We created a franchise model to expand into other geographies.
