Hokosoko is an emerging marketplace that offers a variety of products under various categories

Hokosoko.com is a Marketplace that deals in a wide range of product categories ranging from Electronics to Apparels and Daily Needs to Household items. Hokosoko is operational PAN India and hosts many sellers & huge product catalogue.

The Challenge we had?

The only challenge we had for the project was making a multivendor marketplace that is fast to load as the client was planning to manage an ever-growing list of items in multiple product categories. He launched with around 10,000+ product SKU’s available for selling on the platform, and it’s growing each day.

Thus, the project’s primary challenge was to create a platform that would accommodate many products while maintaining the website’s speed and easy navigation for the buyers.

The Resolution

During the project development, we designed the front-end of the website with straightforward navigation. It looks appealing to the buyer to find the products and create orders on the website easily.

We encountered this problem by enabling CDN usage (content delivery network) on the page cache, server-side cache, and database caching, reducing the page load time to as low as 4 seconds. We also implemented automatic SEO content generation scripts on the website so that the search engine does not find duplicate meta titles/descriptions on the store.

The solution also included a mobile app for buyers on iOS and Android.
